Affordable Spring Make-up

IMG_4054

Hello all!

As the weather starts to get slightly warmer, I thought it was about time to get my spring makeup ready. I’ve already talked about getting my body ready for the spring, and have shared my favourite fake tan on my instagram  but I haven’t yet spoken about the make-up I recently purchased to get my face ready.

I’m not too fussy about make-up generally, but I do like a bit of Rimmel London. Because it’s affordable and actually really good.

I’m going to share my favourites below – I go to boots for most of my makeup, or I purchase them on amazon. I don’t spend over £10 on most items. I like to keep it affordable and accessible. I hate when I run out of my skin-care and it’s more like £50 to replace! It’s just alot to keep spending when it comes to make-up.

I’ll leave links below these photographs for the make-up, please note these are affiliate links should you wish to use them.

Rimmell foundations are always the easiest, most affordable and best drugstore purchases if you ask me. I have used them for years, maybe around 10 years! They are about £8 and have a really good shade range. I use the Match Perfection, with SPF 20. As it’s coming into the spring, SPF is really important, as is hydrating but not oily makeup. This foundation is perfect for that.

What I really enjoy the most about their concealers are the fact it you can buy any shade and make it work with your makeup, and you can use the concealer as a foundation if you want a lightly coverage! (I do this all the time). They’re hydrating, don’t crease under the eye for me and really bloody affordable.

The mascara is quite thick and there’s alot of product, so it coats your lashes quickly and they look full. You also feel like you’re getting alot of product for small change.

The lipstick is probably my favourite. With it’s mauve tones and hydrating formula, it’s perfect for everyday and a go-to in my handbag.

As you can see, I’m all about natural make-up. When I’m not working I’m not really a make-up wearer, so these few affordable pieces make it SO easy to look good quickly.
