Aannmarie At Home – The Details

Having your own home is one thing, but finding your individual style in your home is another thing. You’re looking for inspiration, but if you’re anything like me you’ll want something a bit different; not like the ‘show room’s’ or the ways other people seem to all do it. I like to put small details into the home, that once they’re in the right place, the rest falls into place around them. I’ve shared a few favourite details in my home below. If you’d like to know where anything is from, I’ve linked them at the bottom of this page/written where they are from 🙂

Plants

Plants help the home look fresh and feel inspiring; there's something about them that's both calming and satisfying.

Candles

Candles are so calming and relaxing but also tell your visitors that it's an occasion.

Quotes

Seeing positive, uplifting and inspiring quotes around the home reminds me to think positively and focus on feeling good.

Blankets

Blankets are the one thing that takes a space from being clinical, to being homely. They also come in handy when you're feeling you want to relax.

Cushions

I love cushions, my partner isn't a fan of them so I can only buy a few. I love the larger cushions that are actually comfortable, it's not just about the pattern.

Flowers

My favourite, saved until the end. Flowers are usually a romantic gift and I love receiving them from my partner. I also just think they make your home look so inviting and loved. They can really change a space.

Where did I get these details from?
~ Plants are from Baker.com & the plant pots are from Ikea.
~ Yankee candles are everywhere, but amazon or your local supermarket might be a good place to start 🙂
~ The orange cushions are from Matalan.

I loved writing this, let me know if you have enjoy the details too! 🙂
