Current Skin Favourites

Hi guys! I’m a skin care lover, and have really dry and dehydrated skin, so when I find a product I like that makes my makeup go on a little easier, I’m going to write about it; it’s only fair.

My top favourite at the moment is F&G Hydra-Activ Nutrient Day Cream and I’ll tell you why below (click the titles to see the product online). All of these products are semi affordable, i.e under £20 and worth purchasing if you ask me.

F&G Hydra-Activ Derma Renewal Nutrient Day Cream

This product. My gosh. I struggle daily with a dry forehead and t zone, which becomes oily after products are applied and worn. I have dehydrated skin under my eyes and on my cheeks. My lips are very dry so I rely on balm when I’m out and about. Basically, my skin needs certain products. This is one of them. I absolutely LOVE it.

Clinique Take The Day Off

7583888400_IMG_14037583888400_IMG_14027583888400_IMG_1401 I’ve loved Clinique Take The Day Off since I tried their balm version, which is also one of my absolute favourites. Their products must have magic in them because on my skin it just melts away the makeup, first time. This is quite a lot of product too, and will probably last me a few months. That’s what I like about Clinique. Their products work, they’re affordable considering how long they last and the bottles look pretty in your bathroom. What more do you need, right?!

Laura Gellar Quench ‘N’ Tint

Again, as I have really dry skin it’s hard to find a foundation that works for me. I love this foundation because it’s more like a BB Cream. In fact, the BB Cream I have included in this photograph has more coverage. But, I’m OK with that. I’m not into heavy foundations anymore and I really enjoy that Laura Gellar Quench ‘N’ Tint feels moisturising whilst giving me light coverage. Win, win.

Skin 79 – BB Super + Beblesh Balm

I’ve never tried Skin 79 before I tried this product. Shout out to the Look Fantastic Beauty Box for introducing me to these little gems! What I love about this product is that it’s got coverage but it sits so nicely on the skin that you can use it on it’s own, or pair it with a sheerer foundation for a fuller coverage whilst keeping it light. I’ve gone to this product way more than I ever thought I would. The packaging didn’t entice me, but the product does. Give it a try — you might enjoy it!

I’ll leave it there for now as I could keep writing all day!! Next post will be about my current hair favourites.. coming soon! Am X
